Wich leather is the right one for you?

(this are some advices we can give you through our experience)

You want to a “Chesterfield” sofa, you should use collections as: Tuscania, Sequoia, Monet, Dali or Pacific.

You want to do a public space as a lobby or a restaurant, you should use the collections: Linea, Pacific, Prescott, River or Siza.

You want to do a very highend and confortable sofa, you should use the collections: Nabuk, Dali, Monet or even Sequoia.

You want to use leather on furniture? Our advice will be to use the thin leather possible. Collections like: Pacific, Linea, Sequoia or Dali. And if possible without “any” grain, so you can minimize the abrasion.

How much leather will I need?

Through the 35 years of our experience, we can say that that for each linear meter (1.00 MT), you will need around 1.70 SQM.

Here you have some examples:

This is based on a hide with 4.5/5.0 sqm and it’s a question we answer very frequently. These are our recommendations on how to calculate how much leather you will need to complete your next hotel project. If you have any questions please contact us or our representatives. Feel free to use this as a guide, but it’s always best to confirm with your upholsterer, as it will depend always on the cuts they need or can do.

 

Bespoke Service and R&DD (research & design development)

We can offer you a bespoke product or colour with a MOQ of 300.00 sqm.

Normally it can take between 1 to 3 weeks for development and acceptance of sample, plus 4 to 5 weeks of production.

We also have the research & design development department, where we can search and find the product you are looking for.

It doesn’t matter if is a different colour, stamp or specific market were you need to meet to specifications.

 

Delivery times:

Our delivery times of leather will be between prompt deliver and 6 weeks maximum.

It will depend on collection, colour and quantity.

 

Especial treatments:

Fire resistance certification - 

we will always advice you to work with products tested for the fire resistant norms you require.

Because this will give you an extra protection in the future and some markets require it always.

Stain resistance treatment –

If you work with restaurants, this is one of the technical treatments that you need to search always for. Even before you choose the visual of the product.

Water proof treatment –

Is also a very common technical treatment that we advise to use, especially in restaurant, lobby, rooms and outdoor.

Antimicrobial treatment –

We always advise to use an antimicrobial with a large spectrum, so you can be protect as much as possible.
